MLBB 2023 Esports Roadmap: Full Schedule & Events
MOONTON has unveiled a comprehensive 2023 esports roadmap for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, marking the first time the developer has laid out a full year’s schedule. With events planned for every month, the roadmap aims to sustain the franchise’s rapid global growth and build on the record-breaking viewership seen at the ongoing M4 World Championship.
Key international tournaments
The year opens with the M4 World Championship in January, followed by the MLBB Women’s Invitational in February. May brings the SEA Games in Cambodia, where MLBB will feature as a medal event for the second time. June hosts the MSC 2023, while July includes the World Cyber Games and the Snapdragon Pro Series Challenge. In November, the ONE Esports MPL Invitational takes place, and the M5 World Championship closes the year from November to December. The M4 tournament has already set a new peak viewership record of 4.2 million, reinforcing MLBB’s position among the world’s top esports.
MPL and regional leagues
The Mobile Legends Professional League runs in two splits: the first from February to May and the second from August to October, returning to regions including Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, MENA, and Brazil. National leagues operate concurrently in North America, Turkey, and Latin America. The North America Challenger Tournament (NACT) runs from February to May; after its previous season was held as a LAN in Las Vegas, fans anticipate another on-ground event in 2023. In Latin America, the MLBB LATAM Super League (MLSL) will host two seasons, highlighting MOONTON’s push to expand beyond Southeast Asia.
